FIRST Outreach

During the 2007-2008 FRC robotics season, Team 1533 had the opportunity to start three brand new FRC teams: Team Hotbotz, Team Siege, and Team CYBER. We are very proud of their accomplishments.

Team 2640 the Hotbotz is based out of Reidsville, North Carolina at Reidsville High School. At the 2008 Peachtree Regional, the Hotbotz competed along side of us and we are once again looking forward to seeing them in competition.

Team 2655, CYBER, now known as the Flying Platypi, is based out of High Point & Colfax, North Carolina at Southwest Guilford High School. We maintain a close working relationship with their team and are looking forward to working with them in the future.

Team 2463, Team Siege, was based out of Lexington, North Carolina at North Davidson High School. Team Siege preformed spectacularly at their first regional. They were picked to sub in for one of the alliances in the finals and ended up finishing in second place. In addition to being regional finalists, Team Siege won the Chrysler Team Spirit Award.
